Thirty-nine people attended the Carson Family Reunion July 28, 2007 at Pisgah ARP Church, 3600 South Linwood Road in Gastonia, N.C. They were all descendants of John Brown Carson and Nancy Bigham Carson. John Brown Carson married Nancy Margaret Bigham April 19, 1864 at Hopewell ARP Church in Chester, SC. They had 13 children together; 8 sons and 5 daughters. Their children had a total of 20 recorded children among them.
